Project Management
Mount Washington Wall Display
Working with a team of four, I managed the successful completion and installation of a permanent wall display at AMC’s Pinkham Notch Visitor Center. The idea was to create a sense of place in the center, while also communicating key messages that AMC promotes throughout the year. As project manager, my role was to set the project timeline, assign tasks, including writing copy and designing the display, and finally hiring a company to fabricate and install the final product.
Location:
Pinkham Notch, New Hampshire
Project Duration:
3 months prep and installation
Lessons Learned:
Don’t run with your first idea—the original design went way beyond the scope of the project. While exciting to think about, we had to make significant edits to assure we could provide visitors with an engaging and informative display.
